Sentara Health is seeking to hire a qualified individual to join our team as a Regional Director of Operations - Hospital Based Specialties.

Position Status: Full-time, Day Shift

Position Location: Onsite at Sentara RMH Medical Center in Harrisonburg, VA

Standard Working Hours: 8:00AM to 5:00PM (ET).

Job Description Summary

Functions as the senior non-physician executive for a significant segment of Sentara Medical Group's operations.

Responsibilities:

  • Direct and oversee the efficient and effective operations for a significant number of ambulatory practices, hospital-based practices, and/or diagnostic facilities within a geographic region or for one or more hospital-based service lines.
  • Supervise Directors, Practice Managers and Team Coordinators assigned to one or more practices.
  • Responsible for the development and expert execution of strategic plans that align with organizational goals and objectives related to growth, staffing, employee development, performance management, customer service/satisfaction, service delivery, quality, revenue enhancement, expense control, budgeting, regulatory compliance, safety and security.

Minimum Requirements:

  • Bachelor's Degree (Master's preferred)
  • Minimum 7 years of leadership
  • Diverse management experience/knowledge with a track record of progressively responsible positions in complex health-related organizations.
