Part-time Night Shift Clinical Technician 2 on the Float Pool at Inova Alexandria Hospital

Shift: Two 12 hour shifts per week

As a Clinical Technician 2 Float, under the direct supervision of the Registered Nurse, you will provide direct care to patients whose care requirements are routine, standardized and with predictable outcomes. To help achieve our mission, you will communicate effectively and work cooperatively with others. Having respect for and understanding of other clinical disciplines is of vital importance. Your ability to serve as a unit preceptor for all new Clinical Technicians is required.

Requirements

• Experience: One year experience in an acute care setting as a clinical technician and/or successful completion of one acute care clinical rotation in an Accredited RN Program or completed Certified Nursing Assistant training
• Education: High School graduate or equivalent.
• Certification: BLS within 90 days of hire.
• Training: Candidate must be able to attend six week training orientation upon hire.
• Special Skills: Proficient in English. Verbal and written communication skills required.
