Assistant Resource Manager

The Opportunity:

That's why we need you, a financial analyst who can easily navigate the requirements, policies, and regulations that govern funding, to make sure Booz Allen resources can make the most impact.

As a financial analyst on our team, you'll create a financial management strategy to help investment projects succeed. You'll work with leadership, task leads, and the entire team to develop an actionable plan for your client to secure the funding needed to achieve their goals.

Using your knowledge of laws, regulations, and policies, you'll help your client develop well-formed requirements. Once the funding is in place, you'll make sure the funding is used efficiently through consistent tracking and communication with the Resource Manager, Project Control Analyst, leadership, and support team. This is your chance to work on high-level investment efforts while imparting your financial analysis expertise to your team.

You Have:

  • 4+ years of experience with budget analysis
  • Experience with tracking, budget forecasting, and financial analysis
  • Knowledge of Microsoft Excel and its use in financial tracking, analysis, and reporting
  • Knowledge of return on investment (ROI) Analysis
  • Knowledge of Net Present Value
  • Ability to identify, research, discuss, and resolve administrative and financial issues effectively both independently and as part of a team
  • Ability to learn fundamentals to support program management activities
  • Secret clearance
  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Accounting, or Finance

Nice If You Have:

  • 3+ years of experience with program control, program finance, or business operations support, including financial reporting, forecasting, variance analyses, and pricing cost strategy support, including Price-to-win, and contract management
  • Experience with resource management of people and procurements
  • Experience with contract types and the associated risks and benefits
  • Knowledge of Microsoft Windows applications, including Excel
  • Knowledge of FT2, Deltek Costpoint, Customer Relationship Management (CRM) System, and Integrify
  • Ability to think strategically and analytically
  • Ability to manage and track multiple initiatives
  • Possession of excellent oral and written communication skills
  • Possession of excellent documentation skills
  • Top Secret clearance

Salary at Booz Allen is determined by various factors, including but not limited to location, the individual's particular combination of education, knowledge, skills, competencies, and experience, as well as contract-specific affordability and organizational requirements. The projected compensation range for this position is $67,700.00 to $154,000.00 (annualized USD). The estimate displayed represents the typical salary range for this position and is just one component of Booz Allen's total compensation package for employees. This posting will close within 90 days from the Posting Date.
