Job Description

Responsible for providing civil engineering construction coordination and management services for large-scale public and private engineering construction projects. Project assignments include renovation/construction of HVAC systems. Under supervision of licensed engineer plan, develop and coordinate construction project management ("CPM") schedules for all phases of construction projects, from planning and design to construction and project close-out; prepare Basis of Schedule documents; review construction design drawings and specifications, conduct field visits and gather all material and data necessary to organize CPM construction schedules in appropriate WBS format; prepare CPM scheduling Activities and Schedule Reports; perform value engineering analysis, prepare and review change orders using Unifier, prepare cost estimates and backup justification; review contractors' payment requisitions and recommend the release of construction funds; track and analyze project costs for compliance with budget and profitability goals; ensure projects are in compliance with New York City Building Codes and regulatory agencies, such as the Fire, Housing Preservation and Development, and Parks Departments; perform bottom-up resource and cost loading, regular on-going schedule updates and maintenance; review and analyze contractor schedule submittals and change order requests impacting construction schedule; visit project or client sites to inspect project development, monitor progress and ensure conformance to design specifications and safety standards. Position requires extensive utilization of Primavera P6, MS Project 2017, BIM, AutoCAD, Bluebeam, Procore, and Unifier. Position based at STV's NYC headquarters, and at various unanticipated project sites within the NYC metropolitan area.

Requires Bachelor's degree in civil engineering, followed by minimum two years of experience in the position offered. Requires OSHA30 certification.
