Iron Bow Technologies has an immediate need for an experienced Security, Engineering and Architecture Manager interested in a permanent, FT position in Glen Allen, VA

THE HIGH LEVEL

  • The selected candidate will oversee our Security, Engineering and Architecture teams supporting Windows, MacOS, ChromeOS and VDI for executive branch agencies across the commonwealth of Virginia.
  • This position will be expected to provide management and guidance in the following areas: SCCM Administration, JAMF Administration, software packaging and deployment, Security patching, driver deployments, PC Imaging, IT Security and Architecture

WHAT YOU'LL BE DOING

  • Providing overall program oversight and project execution Security, Engineering and Architecture Services to include developing an understanding of client business needs, achieving customer confidence and satisfaction, providing thought leadership, exploring ways to continuously improve processes and data integrity
  • Provide management and guidance in the following areas: SCCM administration, JAMF administration, ChromeOS administration, software packaging and deployments, security patching, driver deployments, PC Imaging, IT Security and Architecture
  • Identify client strategic business and technical objectives, operational goals and assess ways to drive service delivery in an Information Technology Infrastructure Services (ITIL) environment
  • Develop strategic trust relationship with clients and key stakeholders
  • Work closely with client, internal teams, and other client Suppliers to ensure a consistent high quality services experience is provided
  • Work closely with Iron Bow Recruiting to ensure staffing positions are fulfilled
  • Work closely with Recruiting, Legal & Contracts, Human Resources and Corporate FSO and ISO to ensure compliance with corporate and client policies and procedures
  • Coordinates resources; communicates changes and progress; completes performance on time, within stated service levels and within budget, complying with all reporting requirements
  • Perform written yearly performance reviews for direct reports, as required
  • Conduct quarterly business reviews for assigned regions
  • Conduct monthly lessons learned and intelligence gathering sessions identifying opportunities for improvement
  • Balances team and individual responsibilities; give and welcome feedback; support everyone's efforts to succeed

WHAT YOU BRING TO THE TABLE

  • Candidates should have 5-7 years of technical project management experience in a related environment
  • Strong (4+ years) experience managing employees / having direct reports is desired
  • At least 5 years of experience using Enterprise deployment tools (Intune, SCCM, JAMF) is required
  • Candidates need 5+ years of Windows and network troubleshooting experience
  • ITIL Foundations certification; OEM certifications/training is preferred
  • Bachelor degree or equivalent experience is desired, substitution of experience acceptable
  • Strong leadership, organizational, communications and engagement skills
  • Works extremely well in a matrix management framework
  • Manage to and exceeds profitability targets
  • Exceptional at handling employee situations - disgruntled, frustrated incumbents
  • Exceptional at handling customer situations - staffing challenges, expectation management, scope
  • Effective verbal, presentation and written communications skills. Speaks clearly and persuasively in positive or negative situations; listens and gets clarification; Responds well to questions; Demonstrates group presentation skills
  • Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite to include Project, Microsoft Project and Excel are a must
  • Attention to detail, ability to balance a high-volume workload, prioritize requirements and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment
  • Must be able to work independently and in a cross functional team environment
  • Proven ability to identify and resolve problems in a timely manner/in group problem solving situations
