Job Summary:

The MRO Coordinator coordinates processes and activities of inventoried materials and MRO supplies.

Job Duties:

  • Perform MRO, raw material and finished goods Inventory Cycle counts by product.
  • Periodic cycle counting and accuracy reconciliation for overall plant inventory and high usage items.
  • Actively evaluates inventory processes for inaccuracies and finds solutions that mitigate the issues going forward.
  • MRO Inventory and balances (SAP input and problem Investigation/Resolution).
  • Investigation of MRO undocumented receipts and returns.
  • Restock MRO part shelves, analyze MRO inventory and recommend optimal min/max levels.
  • Maintain organized system for part recognition and identification to include labeled parts, bins, location map and sign-outs.
  • Awareness of MRO inventory pricing and make recommendations where applicable for pricing competitiveness.
  • Implements processes and procedures to create a long-term sustainable culture of accurate inventory accounting with maximized inventory turns.
  • Comply with safety policies and practices and participate in the plant Safety Program.
  • Maintain a safe work environment for self and all team members and equipment through daily 5S, housekeeping activities, vehicle safety checks and report all unsafe acts or conditions.
  • Ability to work any shift including 12-hour shifts, weekend shifts, holidays, maintenance days, etc.
  • Provide accurate reporting of safety, quality, production, and efficiency.
  • Work with team members to make recommendations for process improvements.
  • Operate and/or work around highly automated systems including robotic equipment.
  • Other responsibilities as assigned.

Qualifications and Experience Requirements:

  • High School Diploma or equivalent
  • Experience working in a manufacturing setting with production lines to understand machinery parts and where they are used.
  • Excellent problem solving, attention to detail, and customer relations skills
  • Strong computer and Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Project, Outlook) skills.
  • Excellent communication skills with the ability to read, write and communicate fluently in English.
  • Prior experience using SAP along with 1-2 years inventory management experience,preferred

Starting Pay Range:

  • $20.00 - $23.00 per hour

Work Environment:

In this role, working in an office environment located on the production floor is required. The noise level in the work environment is usually very loud outside of the office area. Employees must wear hearing protection and all other assigned Personal Protective Equipment. This position will use a computer, cellphone and other office equipment to perform the job successfully.While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to stand, walk, and use hands to finger, handle, feel, talk or hear. The employee is frequently required to reach with hands and arms, stoop, kneel, crouch or crawl. The employee must occasionally lift and or move up to 55 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close and distance vision as well as color recognition.
