Join our winning team as anAnalyzerTechnician inPlaquemine, LA.In your role as anAnalyzerTechnician,you will have the primary responsibility to execute maintenance tasks in a safe, efficient, and effective way according to the job package. Individuals working in this role will be required to work in both field and shop environments.

In some role(s) the Analyzer Technician may be required to direct the work of others assigned to the job. The Analyzer Technician may be assigned to work with other primary craft skill groups in the area and to serve in a cross-functional Instrumentation role. The Analyzer Technician may be assigned to work with other craft groups in support of complex jobs requiring multiple craft lines where allowed.

Analyzer Technician Position Responsibilities:
  • Perform calibration, repair, and integrity checks of process analyzer/instrumentation equipment to assure that accuracy, functionality, and reliability are within acceptable limits.
  • Maintain and repair process analytical equipment to assure that accuracy, functionality, and reliability are within acceptable limits.
  • Document complete information on findings and actual work completed and return job package to coordinator at the end of every shift.
  • Support the implementation and success of the maintenance work process by entering SAP notifications for follow up or identified issues, complete job step time confirmations and returning any marshalled material to MRO that was unused for a job.
Analyzer Technician Position Requirements:
  • High school diploma or equivalent; Associate's degree* in Instrumentation or relevant technical discipline, preferred.
  • Minimum 5 years of work experience in a maintenance role that reflects progressive responsibility and knowledge, including previous Process Analyzer or Instrumentation experience.
  • Process or chemical plant experience preferred.
  • Knowledgeable in the application of Reliability Centered Maintenance principles and techniques.
  • Proficient with standard hand tools and software used in the calibration and maintenance of smart instrumentation.
  • Knowledge of analyzer equipment and the associated documentation within assigned area of responsibility.
  • Demonstrated computer skills in Microsoft Office Products (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint, etc.);SAP Plant Maintenance knowledge preferred.
  • Able and willing to participate in off-shift call duty.
  • Must be able to obtain a Transportation Worker Identification Credential (TWIC) and possess a valid US Driver's license.
  • Prior Olin experience in a related role preferred.
