SNIP is an early workforce recruitment initiative offered by Sentara Virginia Beach General Hospital for senior nursing students completing their last two semesters of an accredited nursing program.
SNIP provides aspiring nurses unique opportunities to earn premium pay while working as Nursing Students in our acute care facility that is nationally recognized as a Magnet-designated hospital, and a Level III Trauma Center.

Job Summary
RN Nursing Students are unlicensed staff members who are within two semesters of graduation from an accredited RN program They are accountable to, and work under the direct supervision of a professional nurse to implement delegated aspects of nursing care. Provide patient care, support the admissions and discharge process, and comply with patient safety practices under the direction of the professional nurse. Observe patients' physical, mental, and emotional conditions and report any change to the nursing or medical staff.Qualifications:
HS - High School Grad or Equivalent (Required)Basic Life Support (BLS) - Certification - American Heart Association (AHA) RQISkills
