As a Lead Pricing Analyst, you will:

  • Perform as a trusted partner with account managers and capture teams on larger proposals to gather pricing inputs and requirements to develop a winning price strategy for company growth.
  • Evaluate requests for proposals and provide pricing solutions, strategy and competitive assessments/price-to-win as needed.
  • Develop cost models and narratives for various contract types in response to requests for proposals.
  • Lead pricing reviews and present financials to all levels of management.
  • Engage with all business functions (Contracts, Procurement, Human Resources, Finance, Business Development, etc.) for cost estimates and to ensure compliance and competitive pricing.
  • Ensure the timely generation of multiple pricing submissions often within tight proposal schedules - strong organizational skills and ability to be flexibility are key
  • Ensure compliance with our internal estimating system, proposal requirements and Government regulations.
  • Prepare files for audit and support audit requirements.
  • Engage with team members on collaboration, knowledge sharing and reviews, supporting junior and mid-levels as needed.

NOTE: This is a remote position, ideally with ability to work in our Chantilly, VA office as needed for proposals and periodic meetings

Job Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, Accounting, or related field
  • 8-10 years of relevantpricingexperience in Government contracting
  • Proficient in MS Office Excel for developing models and using advanced formulas
  • Strong organizational, verbal, written, and analytical skills
  • Ability to advise on Government contracting regulations including FAR, DFAR and CAS
  • Experienced with the application and limitations of contract types (Cost Plus, T&M, FFP, etc.)
  • Experienced with developing price-to-win analysis and recommendations
  • Personal drive for teamwork, learning, and continuous improvement

AMERICAN SYSTEMS is committed to pay transparency for our applicants and employee-owners. The salary/hourly range for this position is$100,000- $130,000. Actual compensation will be determined based on several factors permitted by law.
