The Training Specialist's role is to improve overall employee effectiveness and performance through the application of individual and group training techniques and programs, consistent with the SDFCU's organizational priorities.

REQUIRED SKILLS AND COMPETENCIES:

1. College degree with course work in English, education, or training desired
2. 1-3 years of training and course development and design
3. Excellent communication skills, including oral presentation skills, interpersonal skills, and written communication skills
4. Proficiency in Microsoft Office; good working knowledge of Adobe Acrobat, HTML and the Internet
5. Demonstrated skills in research and analysis
6. Demonstrated ability to think creatively
7. Ability to work as a member of a team and independently
8. Ability to meet deadlines
9. Experience in Financial Services Retail Branch delivery and/or Call Center environment preferred
