Job Description

This job contributes to Starbucks success by executing store operations. This job assists and supervises a team of store partners to create and maintain the Starbucks Experience for our customers and partners.

You will be responsible for modeling and acting in accordance with the Starbucks guiding principles, and the Omni Trilogy Culture. Best of all, as a Starbucks Store Manager, you'll be part of a company that is consistently rated as a great place to work and the people here love what they do.

Responsibilities
    Consistent maintenance and refinement of service standards
  • Responsible for leading the coffee shoppe staff to be successful and to work in a fun, energectic and financially rewarding work environment.
  • Maintenance of adequate front of the house uniform inventories by proper forecasting and purchasing.
  • Maintenance of accurate coffee inventories and ongoing seasonal menu updates.
  • Participates on the budgeting and forecasting processes.
  • Communicates clearly, concisely, and accurately in order to ensure effective store operations.
  • Contributes to positive team environment by recognizing alarms or changes in partner morale and performance and taking actions to correct any issues.
  • Demonstrates integrity, honesty, and knowledge that promote the culture, values and mission of Starbucks and Omni Hotels & Resorts.
  • Maintains and models a calm demeanor during periods of high volume or unusual events; continues to keep store operating to standard and sets a positive example for the shift team.
  • Develops positive relationships with shift team by understanding and addressing individual motivation, needs and concerns.
  • Engages in conversation with customers to understand customer needs and the needs of the community in which the store is located.
  • Maintains all Omni Hotels & Resorts attendance and punctuality standards.
  • Maintains all Moments of Service Standards.
  • Maintains Omni Starbucks uniform and appearance standards.
  • Models a customer comes first attitude, delivers legendary customer service, and supervises partners to ensure they are delivering legendary customer service.
  • Responds to immediate store needs by utilizing resources such as Omni Hotel security, Associate Service Center, Director of Outlets, and the Food & Beverage Director.
  • Reviews store environment and key business indicators to identify problems, concerns, and opportunities for improvement in order to provide coaching and direction to the shift team to achieve operational goals.
  • Follows Starbucks operational policies and procedures, including Omni policies and procedures for cash handling safety and security, to ensure the safety of all partners during each shift.
  • Follows all cash management and cash register policies and ensures proper cash management practices are followed by shift team.
  • Supports Omni Hotels and Starbucks initiatives by ensuring that applicable promotions and products are supported.
  • Recognizes and reinforces individual and team accomplishments by using Omni Service Champion (OSC) cards.
  • Utilizes and provides direction to partners during their shift on the use of operational tools to achieve operational excellence. Acts as a coach and mentor to partners by using discretion assessing performance, providing feedback and coaching to improve partner performance and effectively recommending employment decisions to the Director of Outlets.
  • Recognizes and embraces Starbucks' commitment to environmental responsibility through recycling, ethical growing, conservation, and green planet practices.
Qualifications
  • 2 + years experieice in a high volume hospitality cofee shoppe prefered
  • 2+ years experince delagating tasks to other employees and/or coordinationg the tasks of (6) or more employees
  • Bachelor degree or equivalent experience
  • Must have basic computer/SIMPHONY knowledge
  • Previous cash handeling experience
  • Must have unexpired ServSafe Food Handlers and Tips certifications-or obtain upon hire
  • Must be able to move, lift, carry, pusj, pull, and place objects of moderate weight without assistance.
  • Experience in directing the work of others
  • Ability to act with a customer comes first attitude and deliver customer service that meets or exceeds customer expectations.
