We are seeking a qualified Senior Systems Administrator in Dahlgren, VA.

Position Description:

System Analyst shall maintain scripts, and software installations, maintain system configurations, update software, and maintain security.

MUST HAVE AN ACTIVE SECRET CLEARANCE

Responsibilities and Duties:

• Required to install, configure and maintain Linux Operating Systems
• Manage the installation and integration of system fixes, updates, and enhancements. Conduct testing, troubleshooting, performance optimization, and maintenance of hardware and software systems
• Provide support, including end-user assistance
• Perform functions such as managing accounts, network rights, and access to systems and equipment; maintain systems configuration and backups
• Create and maintain technical documentation and Standard Operating Procedures (SOP).
• Create, monitor, and maintain backups/restoration of systems and files
• Research new and emergent technologies
• Provide input for future systems and purchases
• Demonstrate knowledge of enterprise frameworks and methodologies
• Possess the ability to communicate effectively, both written and verbally
• Perform System Trouble Shooting to support the resolution of System Issues
• Perform Restoration of user and system files and directories
  

Required Qualifications and Skills:

• Five years of working with UNIX and Linux
• COMP TIA Security+ Certification, OS certification requirement for Unix/Linux
• NFS Network Storage
• Network Sharing
• Repo Management
• Satellite Server Management and Maintenance
• ACAS System Scanning
