Job Summary

The Production Spotter plays a crucial role in ensuring the smooth operation of production lines while upholding the values, standards, and safety protocols of the company. This position involves working collaboratively with team members to achieve production targets, maintain product quality, and adhere to regulatory requirements.

Primary Duties & Responsibilities
  • Model Spectrum Brands Values and Behaviors: Demonstrate ownership, teamwork, and agility to achieve service excellence and support organizational objectives.
  • Collaborate in Team Efforts: Work with associates to enhance productivity, safety, quality, and continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Perform Assigned Duties: Execute tasks as directed, including delivering materials to the line, keeping lines organized, communicating with other departments for deliveries, and addressing supply issues with Line Leads.
  • Rotation of Duties: Perform duties on a rotational basis within product lines and facilities as required.
  • Maintain Product Flow: Keep a consistent product flow to production lines to enhance productivity and flow of a fast-paced manufacturing facility.
  • Maintain Cleanliness: Clean and organize work areas regularly, contributing to a safe and efficient work environment.
  • Adhere to Regulations: Follow all company, OSHA, and other regulatory policies and procedures, including the use of required PPE.
Education and Experience Profile
  • High School diploma or GED required.
  • 0-2 years of manufacturing experience preferred.
  • Basic math skills required
Required Skills
  • Previous experience in a manufacturing or production environment preferred.
  • Knowledge of current Good Manufacturing Practices (cGMPs) and safety regulations.
  • Ability to operate pallet jacks.
  • Ability to work effectively in a team and follow instructions accurately.
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to producing high-quality products.
  • Flexibility to adapt to changing priorities and work schedules.
  • Physical capability to lift and move materials as needed.
  • Willingness to adhere to all safety protocols and wear appropriate PPE.

Working conditions are normal for a manufacturing environment.
