Job Description

We are currently hiring a Federal Acquisition Consultant (Manager/Senior Manager), with experience leading organizational change management projects of federal acquisition and human capital processes. This Federal Acquisition Consultant (Manager/Sr. Manager) will partner with our client to develop best practices, create standardization, and implement improvements across the client's acquisition and human capital processes. Additionally, this individual will be responsible for improving, optimizing, standardizing, and streamlining stakeholder support processes that yield improvements for functional users.

Beyond the project level, Consulting Managers/Sr. Managers contribute as leaders on various other Eagle Hill accountabilities such as, business development, professional development of employees and teams, support of account/capability management, and are expected to demonstrate competency in solutioning within our service lines and in business development efforts. Specific responsibilities may vary and will be dependent on an employee's current project role, but the role of a Consulting Managers/Sr. Manager may include:

  • Lead one or more client projects

  • Manage matrixed teams and client relationships

  • Mentor, coach, and professionally develop team members

  • Actively participate in helping Eagle Hill grow; play a lead role in developing new business through client and/or service line expertise

  • Contribute to internal initiatives that build firm capability

  • Lead teams in the development of client solutions

  • Serve as a project contributor and play a hands-on role in developing client solutions in strategy and performance, talent, and change management

  • Work collaboratively with clients to develop a deep understanding of business issues, create strategies to address their problems, and work alongside clients to implement those solutions

  • Contribute to account management and business development efforts

Qualifications

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor's Degree
  • Minimum of 15 years of experience in program and/or project management
  • Minimum of 5 years of demonstrated experience with Federal Acquisition polices and processes
  • Project Management Professional (PMP) certification
  • Experience leading and/or contributing to the implementation of change management strategies
  • Highly proficient in process improvement methodologies to include conducting assessments, gap analysis, and implementation of recommendations
  • Demonstrated leadership skills, including people development, team building, and conflict management
  • Highly skilled in leading individual and team performance; experience developing others' management and leadership capabilities
  • Experience leading across multiple consulting engagements and developing and managing people, scope, budget, and schedule
  • History of successfully leading the development of solutions through strong problem-solving and analytical skills
  • Proven track record in gaining client trust and building credibility by way of delivery excellence
  • Demonstrated excellence presenting to an executive-level audience, both written and oral
  • Familiarity with varying business development lifecycles and desire to contribute to business development efforts
  • Flexible and adaptable, be a leadership role model for others at all times, and especially, during times of change and ambiguity
  • Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without the need for employer sponsorship, now or at any time in the future
  • Ability to successfully complete and retain any company, federal, or other background investigations required to perform client work

Desired Qualifications

  • DAWIA - Contracting/PM certification or FAC-C or FAC-P/PM certification
  • External client-facing management consulting experience in Eagle Hill's service lines (change management, strategy and performance, and talent)
  • Entrepreneurial spirit and ability to be resourceful and take initiative
