MSTP - MAGTF/Senior Advisor Group - Senior Logistics Analyst

Specific Responsibilities
Applied Training Solutions (ATS) is seeking a Logistics Analyst to support the Marine Air Ground Task Force Staff Training program (MSTP). The Logistics Analyst provides functional subject matter expertise to examine and assess MAGTF level organizations, identifies friction points, offer solutions, and draft procedures for improvement as an Observer, Trainer, and Collector. Conduct observation by assessing MAGTF processes, reviewing operation orders and procedures. Plans, develops, coordinates, and delivers operational-level, regionally focused MAGTF relevant instruction, training and education, Supports the Brigadier General Selection Orientation Course (BGSOC) Senior-Leader Seminars, the Marine Corp University (MCU), and other service schools. Captures relevant data and processes through observation, analyzes capture information, records findings in a final after-action report and final exercise evaluation report.
The mission of the MSTP is to provide MAGTF level training across the range of military operations, within the context of a Joint and/or Combined Task Force environment, to improve the warfighting skills, with the main effort of providing training and support.
Required Skills/Qualifications
- Selected personnel will have an adjudicated TS clearance and access up to TS/SCI
- Senior staff planning experience in the Joint Operations Planning Process and the Marine Corps Planning Process at the Marine Division, Wing, or MLG staff
- Experience writing orders in the USMC and Adaptive Planning and Execution (APEX) format, to include Annex D and all applicable Appendices/Tabs/Exhibits as required for each exercise.
- Experience conducting tactical and operational level planning at the conceptual, functional, and detailed levels for service and functional component organizations, as well as joint headquarters organizations.
- Completion of an appropriate level of professional military education such as Intermediate/Top Level School (ILS/TLS)
- Knowledge of, and operational experience, deploying and employing logistics processes and procedures in support of ground combat, aviation, supporting arms, and combat service support units
- Background as MEF Ops, MEF or MARFOR Assistant Chief of Staff (AC/S) or Deputy AC/S, HQ Marine Corps Installations & Logistics.
- Working knowledge of Engineering, Mortuary Affairs, Medical, Transportation, maintenance and Services.
- Knowledge of, and operational experience, with military doctrine, tactics, and command relationships at the operational command level
- Knowledge of command and control (C2) systems related to logistics processes
- Ability to capture emerging support systems upgrades and logistical process innovations.
- Capable of developing the exercise logistics planning that drives force level logistics processes.
Desired Skills/Qualifications
- Mid/Senior-Level - Bachelor's Degree or equivalent w/ 12+ Years Direct Relevant Experience.
- Proficiency using MS Word, Excel, Adobe, and Outlook skills.
- Strong verbal, written, interpersonal, communication and presentation skills.
