Job Description

Reporting to the Director of Reunion Programs, the Reunion Programs Coordinator will work with reunion volunteers and key university stakeholders to achieve the attendance goals and support the giving participation goals of Reunion Programs. The Program Coordinator will identify, cultivate and manage volunteers, including those from affinity groups and anniversary class cohorts, to support reunion program objectives. The Program Coordinator will provide administrative, programmatic and alumni-focused support for Reunion Programs. This includes collaborating with the Office of Special Events and key university stakeholders to support the promotion, planning and execution of Homecoming and Alumni Weekend programs that elevate university priorities. This position may support other advancement and university events and constituency-based reunions on occasion.

This individual will provide exceptional volunteer support and timely responses to volunteer requests, training, strategic direction and frequent communication. A successful candidate will be highly organized, detail-oriented and comfortable coordinating programs and activities, with the ability to break projects into doable actions and establish time-frames.

Required Qualifications

* Senior administrative or project coordination support or equivalent office experience with increasing levels of responsibility.
* Demonstrated experience in event planning, strategic planning, and/or volunteer management.
* Demonstrated data analytic skills and proficiency using Microsoft Office Suite.
* Demonstrated knowledge of social media platforms.
* Strong professional interpersonal skills for positive external communications and interactions.
* Successful candidates will work both independently as well as collaboratively within the department and with others at the university.

Preferred Qualifications

* Bachelor's degree or equivalent level of related training and/or experience.
* Experience in reunion programming, alumni engagement, annual giving and/or non-profit work.
* Experience in marketing, communications, student affairs, or other related fields.
