POSITION OVERVIEW AND PRIMARY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES (ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS):

Project Overview:

The Department of the Army, Installation Management Command (IMCOM) has a continuing requirement for Base Operations and Support Services for the U.S. Army Garrison Fort Belvoir, Fairfax County, Virginia. The objective of this contract is to provide United States Army Garrison (USAG), Fort Belvoir with base operation support services to include, but not limited to:

  • Unaccompanied housing services
  • Facilities engineering services management
  • Solid waste management
  • Pest management
  • Snow, ice, sand removal
  • Facilities maintenance
  • Grounds maintenance
  • Maintenance surfaced and unsurfaced areas.

Position Overview:

The Quality Control Manager is responsible for managing, implementing, and maintaining the Quality Control Program which shall be documented in the Quality Control Plan (QCP). The purpose of the QCP is to provide procedures to identify, prevent, and ensure no recurrence of defective services.

This opportunity is for a POTENTIAL CONTRACT award and is contingent upon the contract being awarded. Consideration for a potential contract may require a signed letter of intent. If the contract is awarded, another position posting will be available on the Company Careers portal.

Primary/Major Duties and Responsibilities (Essential Functions):

  • Ensure all work in support of mission requirements tendered to the Government for acceptance conforms to the measurable performance standards of quality, timeliness, and quantity specified in the performance work statement (PWS) of this contract.
  • Develop, implement, and maintain an effective quality control program, which shall be documented in a Quality Control Plan (QCP) to ensure services are performed according to this contracts Performance Work Statement (PWS) requirements.
  • Develop and implement procedures to identify and prevent the recurrence of defective services
  • Maintain files of all inspections or tests conducted by the Contractor, to include any corrective actions taken.
  • Maintain and implement an effective Quality Control System
  • Enter all customer feedback surveys into automated database and analyze metrics
  • Develop and Monitor Corrective Action Plans to resolve quality issues as they arise
  • Manage continual process improvement through random and scheduled inspections
  • Coordinate QA reviews of technical team performance
  • Provide Quality Control Reports on the last day of each month.
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE:

  • Must have must have 5 or more years of experience performing quality control management functions in a base operations contract environment.
  • Experience to include, but not limited to managing the overall quality program, deficiency identification/correction, and analyzing performance data to correct and improve performance.
  • Possess a SECRET clearance.
  • Must be a U.S. citizen
  • Understand, speak, read, and write in the English language.
