AOP OBGYN has a wide variety of team members to include CMAs, LPNs, RNs, Sonographers, Nurse Practitioners, Physicians and Certified Nurse Midwives who all work together to provide exceptional patient centered care. We care for patients across the life span for their GYN health needs, as well as caring for them throughout the duration of their pregnancy and postpartum. Some of our providers have niche specialties to include family planning, addiction medicine, high risk needs, and abortion services. Your dedication to providing exceptional care will contribute to our mission of being the safest hospital in the nation. Our clinic hours are Monday-Friday 8am-4:30pm. No weekends, holidays, nights, or call shifts are required. Currently, we offer 5 8-hour shifts as a team to ensure that we are providing the highest quality care to our patients and working cohesively and collaboratively as a team.
The LPN job commences to integrate technical skills and theoretical knowledge to meet the needs of the patient and family. This role assists the health care team with the prevention of illness and injury, maintenance of wellness, and provision of comfort. This role also provides direction, education, and begins to assume leadership responsibilities at the unit level.
The LPN job delivers and accurately documents direct, age-specific care to a patient or group of patients based on medical orders and an integrated, multidisciplinary plan of care. This role safely administers prescribed medications, identifying incompatibilities and/or interactions."
Licensure, Certification, or Registration Requirements for Hire: Licensure, certification or registration varies depending on the incumbent`s employment background and transitional assignment; LPN licensure in Virginia or eligible Licensure,
Certification, or Registration Requirements for continued employment: Current LPN Licensure in Virginia AHA BLS Certification or equivalent

Experience PREFERRED: Experience as a LPN in either an acute care setting or as applicable to area of practice
