Description

The Subcontracts Administrator/Buyer I position will be responsible for the procurement of supplies and services to support both direct and indirect efforts. This employee will also assist in the negotiation and maintenance of subcontracts under multiple federal contracts.

Job responsibilities include but are not limited to:

  • Procurements of materials and services including, but not limited to conducting due diligence, requesting and reviewing quotes and conducting price analysis.
  • Documenting procurement folders in accordance with FAR and DFAR requirements as well as company policies and procedures.
  • Maintaining vendor folders to include current and complete Representation and Certifications, company data, etc.
  • Conduct due diligence
  • Negotiation of Agreements
  • Report weekly subcontracts and purchasing related metrics

Education/Skills/Qualifications:

  • Associates Degree in Business Administration or related field.
  • One (1) year of procurement and/or contracts related experience.
  • Must be flexible in a fast-paced, ever-changing environment.
  • Government contracting experience preferred.
  • Strong interpersonal skills.
  • Strong time management and decision-making skills.
  • Strong organizational skills.
  • Strong communication (verbal and written) skills.

Clearance: ABILITY TO OBTAIN DoD CLEARANCE
