Capstone Corporation is a solutions and services provider successfully supplying mission critical support to the Federal government. Mr. William J. Moore III established Capstone Corporation in 1986 in response to a Department of the Navy request for part-time Information Technology consulting services. By 1986, the demand for Capstone services grew large enough to justify incorporation in the State of Virginia. Capstone subsequently was certified as an 8(a) company in 1991, graduated from the 8(a) program in 2000, and graduated from the Small Business Program in January 2009. The Capstone Corporate Headquarters is located in Alexandria, Virginia with a second office in Virginia Beach, Virginia.
