Job Description:

At CMC Material, we are making an investment in people and talent. We are looking for paid summer interns that will help our business grow and help our interns learn and progress in their careers and education. Throughout the summer you will primarily be working on a project that is tied to company goals. You will be working closely with a mentor/mentors on your team who will help you develop the needed skills, while providing you exposure to real business challenges. All interns will have the ability to network with other business units and fellow interns in compliance with the COVID protocols and improve your presentation skills by participating key technical discussions.

Our focus is in the provision of highly engineered & high value solutions to the semiconductor and oil & gas industries, where we have a global footprint, and a dominant position.

The intern will work closely with our research and development team for our Pads business unit. They will explore new CMP metrology setup or new pad polymer formulation development.

The job includes pad sample preparation that leads to future product using various techniques through multiple steps, characterization of samples before and after testing, and advanced analysis of testing results. It consists of ~ 70% lab work and ~ 30% data analysis.
