Talent Acquisition Intern

PAE is a leading provider of enduring support for the essential missions of the U.S. government, its allied partners and international organizations. The National Security Solutions (NSS) business unit of PAE provides counter-threat solutions, business process outsourcing, adjudication support services and full life cycle support for complex legal matters.

Through its Internship Program, PAE will provide high-potential undergraduate students the opportunity to gain in-depth knowledge of the government contracting industry, apply their skills to projects within their discipline, and grow their personal and professional networks.

Essential Job Duties:

  • Support the recruiting process
  • Coordinate with management to ensure full understanding of recruitment needs and priorities
  • Coordinate and lead job fairs and other local hiring events
  • Work closely with local governments, industries, and schools to create a PAE presence within the community
  • Proactively source candidates using multiple outlets
  • Develop recruiting strategies to attract candidates in the local market
  • Conduct phone screens and in-person interviews with prospective candidates
  • Accurately maintain applicant tracking system (Workday).

Requirements:

  • Self-starter, actively seeks out assignments, and independent attitude
  • Strong communication skills and desire to work in a team environment
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
  • Organized, with an ability to prioritize time-sensitive assignments
  • Must be fluent in verbal and written English.
  • Ability to pass a pre-employment screening process to include background check and drug screen is required.
  • Can handle sensitive information with the highest degree of integrity and confidentiality.
  • Rising Junior or Senior in an accredited college majoring in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related major
