The Role
As an Amazon Customer Excellence System (ACES) Sr. Technical Process Engineer, you will be responsible for setting the vision, strategy and defining the business requirements to increase the efficacy and efficiency of the ACES Selling Partner Support organization. It is your responsibility to have breadth and depth of all program technology in order to advise and provide recommendations on product direction. You will lead and develop complex software products from beginning to end (deep diving operational data, business/technical requirements gathering, developing, testing and implementing) and collaborate with other Selling Partner Support leaders to plan and prioritize initiatives to reduce operational costs. In addition, you will work closely with the Process Engineering team to help mentor and develop junior to experienced engineers.

Summary of Responsibilities:
* Technical advisor for Selling Partner Support ACES Organization
* Partner with ACES leadership to drive process and product improvements throughout Selling Partner Support
* Engage with program and business stakeholders to document requirements, create functional specifications and generate process maps (BPMN)
* Design, develop, validate and improve Amazon Selling Partner self-service software products (Paragon Workflows)
* Become a subject matter expert on Amazon's internal web application and workflow engine to develop Paragon Workflows
* Engage with software development teams to understand and guide evolving program technology
* Author customer facing content in various markup languages (Markdown, HTML, CSS)
* Understand and leverage Amazon Selling Partner technology and services
* Deep dive technical product or operational issues to propose and implement simple and effective solutions
Basic Qualifications
* Bachelor/Master's degree in engineering, information technology, related technical field or the equivalent experience
* 5+ years of experience in a similar role (process engineering, product development, software development, process improvement)
* Working knowledge of data and process modeling (i.e. wire framing, simulation, developing logic, scripting and etc.)
* Effectively handle multiple cross-functional large scale projects at the same time
* Track record of influencing and driving change in ambiguous environments
