Description:

As a ServiceNow Business Process Consultant, your role is to provide expert guidance and support to clients in optimizing their business processes using the ServiceNow platform. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams, including business stakeholders, process owners, and technical teams, to understand their requirements and design efficient and effective workflows within the ServiceNow ecosystem. You will leverage your expertise in ServiceNow's capabilities, best practices, and industry standards to help clients achieve their business objectives.

Essential Functions & Duties:

  • Consultation and Requirements Gathering:
  • Engage with clients to understand their business needs, goals, and challenges.
  • Conduct workshops and interviews to gather requirements and identify process improvement opportunities.
  • Analyze existing processes and workflows to identify gaps and areas for optimization.
  • Solution Design and Configuration:
  • Utilize your deep knowledge of the ServiceNow platform to design and configure solutions that align with client requirements.
  • Develop and document process workflows, system integrations, data structures, and user interfaces.
  • Collaborate with technical teams to ensure the successful implementation of designed solutions.
  • Process Optimization and Improvement:
  • Identify and recommend process improvements and automation opportunities using ServiceNow features and functionalities.
  • Work closely with clients to streamline and standardize their business processes.
  • Provide guidance on industry best practices and leverage ServiceNow's capabilities to drive efficiency and effectiveness.
  • Stakeholder Management and Collaboration:
  • Collaborate with business stakeholders, process owners, and technical teams to ensure a thorough understanding of requirements and alignment on solution designs.
  • Communicate effectively with stakeholders at all levels to provide project updates, manage expectations, and address concerns.
  • Foster strong working relationships and serve as a trusted advisor to clients.
  • Training and Knowledge Transfer:
  • Conduct training sessions and workshops to educate clients on ServiceNow functionality and best practices.
  • Create and maintain documentation, user guides, and training materials to support ongoing knowledge transfer.

Skills, Qualifications and Certifications of Best Candidates:

  • ServiceNow certifications (Highly desirable): Certified System Administrator (CSA) & Certified Implementation Specialist - IT Service Management (CIS-ITSM). ServiceNow certifications, such as CIS - Project Portfolio Management (CIS-PPM) and CIS - Human Resources (CIS-HR), are highly desirable.
  • At least 4 years' experience working with the ServiceNow platform, including expertise in configuring workflows, service catalog, and reporting preferred.
  • In-depth understanding of ServiceNow IT service management (ITSM) processes, IT operations, and related industry frameworks (e.g., ITIL).
  • Familiarity with ServiceNow modules, such as IT Asset Management (ITAM), IT Business Management (ITBM/SPM), Project Portfolio Management (PPM), or Human Resources (HR), is a plus.
  • Demonstrated ability to gather requirements, analyze complex business processes, and design solutions that meet client needs.
  • Excellent communication skills, with the ability to effectively collaborate with technical and non-technical stakeholders at all levels of an organization.
  • Strong problem-solving and critical-thinking skills, with the ability to identify issues, propose solutions, and drive process improvements.
  • Experience in business process consulting or process improvement projects is advantageous.

Citizenship or Work Authorization Required:

  • Ability to obtain and maintain Federal Government Position of Trust
  • Must be a U.S. citizen
  • Must pass a background investigation.

Preferred Education & Experience: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Business Administration, or a related field. Relevant work experience may be considered in lieu of a degree.

Compensation for roles at Synergy varies depending on a wide variety of factors including but not limited to the requirements of the role; education and certifications; knowledge, training, skills and abilities; level of experience; geographic location; and alignment with market data, law, and other business and organizational needs. As required by local law, the posted pay range represents the lowest to the highest pay that Synergy believes in good faith it might pay for this particular job, depending on the circumstances. The disclosed range estimate has not been adjusted for the applicable geographic differential associated with the location at which the position may be filled. It is not typical for an individual to be hired at or near the top of the range for their role and compensation decisions are dependent on the facts and circumstances of each case.

A reasonable estimate of the current pay range is: $102,298 - $140,000.

Essential Job Function Physical Requirements: The physical requirements of this position are critical in evaluating the qualifications and abilities of an applicant or employee. The physical efforts needed to perform the essential duties of this job 90% of the time are repetitive motions, grasping, holding, and finger dexterity of the hands, reading, writing, eye-hand coordination, color distinction, and full visual abilities, hearing, talking, sitting, and use of IT equipment, phones, and office machines.

To a reduced degree, <30% of the time, candidates may have to stand, walk, lift 0-30 pounds, push or pull objects, climb stairs, bend, squat, reach, drive a car, or work overtime.
