Job Description

NS2 Mission is seeking excellent DevOps candidates to join our engineering team in Chantilly, VA working on the next generation of a key software system in the Intelligence Community for defense of vital national assets. Our team has deep experience in this exciting mission space and is looking to grow on this newly awarded contract.

The DevOps Engineer candidate will work to standardize, automate, and orchestrate the deployment of system platforms and software across multiple environments and classification levels. The candidate will coordinate between multiple project stakeholders (engineering, security, management) and therefore must possess a professional demeanor and good communication skills.

The team is looking for Junior, Mid, and Senior level Developers to join the team.

Experience required:

  • Junior: 1-4 years of experience with the preferred/desired qualifications below
  • Mid: 5-10 years of experience with the preferred/desired qualifications below
  • Senior: 10+ years of experience with the preferred/desired qualifications below
  • Security+ or equivalent certification

Preferred Qualifications:

  • A degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering or related or an additional 4 years of experience in lieu of degree
  • Demonstrated experience engineering and maintaining Continuous Integration deployment solutions using DevOps tools such as Jenkins, Gitlab, CloudFormation, Nexus, Ansible, Puppet, Chef, etc.
  • Experience using AWS, containerization, automation, and deployment technologies such as EC2, EBS, AMI, AWSCLI, CloudWatch, Docker, and Kubernetes
  • Understanding of software development programming languages and scripting languages (Java, Python, Shell, etc.)
  • In-depth knowledge of Linux operation systems

Position Clearance Requirement:

TS/SCI with CI Poly
