THE HIGH LEVEL

We're looking for a Sr. Federal Program Manager who will manage and oversee a large program initiative for the Federal Government. The Program Manager will be responsible for the planning, direction, and coordination of all activities of designated global projects. The PM will ensure that goals and objectives of the project are accomplished within scope, schedule, resource, and quality parameters, as defined within the executed Statement of Work (SOW) and/or Customer Contract.

WHAT YOU'LL BE DOING

  • Direct Iron Bow resources and manage the program to include planning/scheduling, risk management and mitigation processes, deliverables management, stakeholder communications, regular status reporting, documentation, etc.
  • Provide monthly forecasts and financial management, including forecasting monthly, profit/loss analysis, identifying potential budget overruns or underruns.
  • Produce/present quarterly and annual program reviews for both internal/external customers
  • Understand and apply the Iron Bow PM Methodology processes and procedures to include risk and financial management and other functions relating to a typical PgM role.
  • Ensure that goals and objectives of the project are accomplished within scope, schedule, resource and quality parameters, as defined within the executed Statement of Work and/or Customer Contract.
  • Assess client business and technical objectives, determine deliverables, evaluate risk and execute projects.
  • Maintains a schedule of contract deliverables, meetings, and service level agreements
  • Proactively identifies program issues and develops reasonable and appropriate solutions
  • Understands the customer's culture and requirements and works to establish a strong rapport with the customer's representatives identifying their needs and managing their expectations while establishing a strong working relationship and identifying opportunities for improved performance
  • Works through contractual actions such as stop work orders, invoicing issues and/or manage contractual modifications
  • Foster a collaborative and positive working environment that encourages open communication and knowledge sharing
  • Additional duties as assigned.

WHAT YOU BRING TO THE TABLE

  • You have 10+ years Program Management experience working IT implementations for Federal Civilian customers
  • You have vast experience working within the Civilian space driving the execution of technically complex IT deployment solutions for multiple locations concurrently
  • You are able to orchestrate the overall customer experience, while delivering to the program objectives
  • You have a strong understanding of financial, risk, deliverables, and resource management
  • You have experience conforming with contract regulations and performance of obligations within the contractual agreement
  • You have a high attention to detail and extensive writing skills are required, as effective communication is critical within this role
  • You are proficient in Microsoft Excel, Microsoft SharePoint, and Microsoft Teams.
  • You have the ability to work independently and in a matrixed team environment
  • Ability to prioritize requirements and meet deadlines
  • Ability to learn in a fast-paced environment
  • You understand and can apply proper application of program management practices and activities
  • This role must be able to present to C-level Executives and be able to demonstrate presentation skills during the interview process.
  • Bachelor's Degree preferred
  • PMP certification required
  • Ability to obtain DoD Secret clearance, existing DoD Secret clearance highly preferred

TRAVEL REQUIREMENTS

  • This position is remote but may require 20% travel.
