Job Summary

Develop and conduct live and constructive Exercise Control (EXCON) for NEIC controlled exercises in which IETs are participating. For each exercise, EXCON must be sufficiently detailed and comprehensive to enable IETs to exercise all Navy Mission Essential Tasks (NMETs), and for NEIC to assess each IET NMET.

Role and Responsibilities
  • The Intelligence Analyst shall assist the NEIC Training Officer in all matters related to the training and assessment of IETs and the core capability of intelligence analysis.
  • Assist the NEIC Training Officer and the command N39 in matters related to Intelligence Analysis.
  • Instruct, mentor, and assess IETs during unit level training and prescribed exercises in accordance with command guidance.
  • Will be required to conduct Train the Trainer courses of instruction for individuals and teams on select intelligence analysis capabilities and/or technology.
  • Assist the Senior CI/HUMINT Collector

  • None


Required Qualifications and Education
  • Minimum of five (5) years of analysis experience in order to assist the NEIC Training Officer in matters related to the training and assessment of IETs and the core capability of intelligence analysis.
  • Recent knowledge within the last five (5) years of relevant analytic techniques and tools is required.


Preferred Qualifications and Education
  • Knowledge of current and projected computer networks and telecommunications architectures is required.

Physical Demands/Work Environment
  • 40 Hours: Full-time work week (Monday through Friday), occasional weekends as needed

  • Travel: 20%
